Creative and Life Writing Workshops
Alison lives in Somerset and writes contemporary women's fiction, gritty dramas and YA time-travel adventure. She is published by darkstroke, and is a member of the Society of Authors and, the Romantic Novelists’ Association. She has a first class degree in Creative Writing from
Bath Spa University and a Masters with merit from Oxford Brookes University. She taught Creative Writing for Wiltshire College until December 2018. Alison now run workshops at the Red Brick Building in Glastonbury and other locations. Alison is available for freelance editing.
Bio
Jenny lives in Devon and writes contemporary women’s fiction, romance, and children's picture books as Jenny Kane. She also writes medieval mysteries and audio scripts as Jenifer Ash and award winning erotica as Kay Jaybee. She is published by Aria, Headline, Chinbeard Books, Xcite, Mammoth, Penguin, Cleis Press and Sweetmeats Press.
Jenny is a member the Romantic Novelists’ Association and the Erotic Readers and Writer's Association. Jenny has a PhD in Medieval History. She has been teaching creative writing classes to adults and children for twelve years in-between writing her novels, novellas & short stories. Jenny is the co-founder of Imagine creative writing workshops

Short Story and Fiction Writing Groups
Jenny Kane runs two fortnightly writing groups via Zoom.
Places are limited to 7 writers per evening.
£10 per head.

Beginners encouraged. Relaxed and fun!
Alternative Tuesday eve - 7-8pm via Zoom

Alternative Wednesday eve – 7-8pm via Zoom
These fiction workshops are for anyone who wants to have fun with words and build their creative writing skills.
Each meeting includes general writing advice, short writing exercises and the setting of an optional short story challenge.

The classes cover every aspect of fiction writing and run on a rolling basis for approx. 30 sessions. You can join or leave at any time. (It is possible to attend alternate classes only if you prefer.)
​
For those who want it, Jenny will critique each short story written for the fortnightly challenge for an additional £3.50 per critique.
​
The workshop cost is £10 per person, per session, Payment is via Bank Transfer. Payment details given on request.

You will need to have pen and paper to hand, as well as a Zoom connection with video and microphone facilities.
